Create A Machine That Will Be Efficient In The Future
I would create a machine that can completely rid a person's body of all lethal diseases, illnesses, harmful body fluids, etc. This will include any type of cancer, lung disease, and anything that may kill somebody. This machine will have absolutely no side effects and will not harm the person at all. It is beneficial to many people because a lot of human beings are suffering from deadly diseases. However, only people who are really seriously dying will be able to go through the treatment. If they have something that can be easily cured, they do not need it. The treatment will not be too expensive so that people who are dying and do not have much money can save themselves. This machine will be efficient for future problems and will hopefully help contribute to the dying out of all, if not some, diseases. The population will surely grow, but now families will not have to go through the loss and sorrow of a loved one(s) dying.

If Money Were No Object...
If money were no object, I would travel the world. I would take up wacky hobbies and live life the way I wanted. I would pursue a singing career and tour all around the world, performing for everyone. If money were no object, I would like to work with kids and help them to achieve their own goals. I could work with less fortunate children/people, and help them fulfill opportunities they may have not been able to get on their own. I just really want to do exciting things with my life. I want to see the world, the different people, the different sites and cultures. I want to take home exotic souveneirs, I want amazing stories and pictures of the sites I see with the people I meet. If money were no object, I would go after as many opportunities as possible. I would love to help people who wish to do the things that I do, and learns the things that I know. I want to help people who do not have a lot of luxury and chances. I really honestly just want to excel in all the things that I love to do. So, if money were no object, I would basically just do all the things I enjoy doing, and just really succeed with my life. "Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful." -Albert Schweitzer

Favvvvvvvv Hobby
My all time favorite hobby is volleyball. I eat, sleep, and breathe volleyball. I have been playing since 7th grade. I remember when tryouts first rolled around, and I almost did not go to them. I honestly think I would have regretted it so much. Everyday, I play. Even when I am not playing, I always have an extra ball somewhere in my room, and I am constantly setting and bumping it. Volleyball takes up most of my free time. Even during off season, almost every Saturday and sometimes Sunday is taken up by a tournament. The most exciting thing about the sport itself is how powerful it makes me feel. The fact that I can control the speed, power, spin, direction, etc., is just amazing. However, volleyball is not as easy as it looks. "Anyone can play!" I am always told. They are all wrong. Not just anybody can play. Trust me, I have seen some girls that have played for a few years pick up a ball, and shank it a good 2o feet from their position. It definitely is not an easy task. I still am not as good as I would like to be. I am progressing though, everyday I am getting better, and it really shows. I honestly just want to take this talent with me in the future. I want to grow up playing as I have been, maybe make a career out of it. When I am older, I want to be able to look back at where I was, and then look at where I am and say "I made it."

One Thing I Would Like to Change About My Past
One major thing I would like to change about my past is how much me and my parents argue. Because of these fights, me and my parents do not have as strong of a bond as I would like to have. Sometimes we have good days, sometimes we have bad days. On the good days, we can all get along, laugh, and smile a lot. On the bad days however, all we do s yell, catch attitudes, and get angry. I wish I had a closer relationship with them. If I did, I would be able to trust them a lot more, and tell them a lot more than I do. We'd always get along, and I would not be so angry all of the time. Everything would be fine. I love my parents, please do not get me wrong, but they can really grind my gears. Sometimes, it gets really hard to control my anger. I know I have to though, or something could go wrong. I do not want to risk that. My parents have always supported all of my decisions 100%, and they provide me with every necessity and more. They come to all of my volleyball games, tournaments, all things school related, and all in all they are always so involved in my life. I am just trying to change how I treat them because I know it is not the greatest way, and that they deserve so much more. I am very thankful for my parents and every single thing they do for me. I would just like to start showing it more than I have done in the past.

One Thing I Value the Most.
One thing in my life that I value the most is volleyball. Without volleyball, I would honestly have no life. It is not a hobby so much as it is a passion. Volleyball is something I live for. I live for the long hours of practice, bus rides to far away places, that feeling of beating a team at its home gym. It is all very exciting. Sometimes I want to quit, or give up. Sometimes, I think "Whatever, it's just a sport." However, it really is not. Volleyball is how I take out my stress, anger, sadness, and it is where I can relieve myself. I cannot imagine my life without it. Volleyball is not really something anyone can just pick up and be good at. This is why I am glad I started learning when I did. Learning takes time, dedication, motivation, and focus. Without any of that, I would not be able to do anything. Myself, as well as my family, are extremely proud of how far I have come since I first started. I began on a little middle school team in 7th grade, and I barely knew how to underhand serve. Now, I am a sophomore playing varsity, and practicing up to four hours every single day just to improve. However, I am not complaining. Volleyball is also the source of all my happiness.

The Most Interesting that Happened this Summer
Honestly, the most interesting thing that happened this summer was probably when I went four wheeling. It was the second time that I had ever been four wheeling. The first time was two summers ago. We had gone to my mom's friend's house for the day, and she had two four wheelers. There was a big one and there was a little one. Now, this was the official first time I had ever been on one. I got on it, and I decided to go down a more difficult path. Because I chose to go down this path, I ended up crashing into a tree. After that happened, I never wanted to get on a four wheeler again. However, two years later, I found myself being a daredevil and getting back on. I succeeded my goal of not crashing. That same night, I was chased with a chainsaw. While the guy was running at me, I just stood there watching him. I learned something that day though. I learned that I'd be the first to due in a scary movie. The end.

My Name.
My name is Rachel Freeman, also known as Freebird. It is really nothing special, nothing fancy, am I right? I was not named after anyone, any special place or thing. It was not fate that brought me and my name together. There is not even a back story. It was an accident of sorts, I guess one could say. It was a late night, hours of searching, red eyes and tired brains kind of accident. An accident that, inevitably, blessed me with my identity.
I was almost named Sarah. I was almost Hannah Freeman. Even though, hopefully, we can all agree that those names do not quite suit me very well. So it is safe to say that Rachel is a nice fit, correct? However, Rachel means 'baby sheep', or in the bible, 'Wife of Jacob'. Neither of these describe me at all. Rachel: soft like a baby sheep. Not even close.
I could honestly not even imagine having another name, so yes, I am thankful for it. It is a common and popular name, but that is the least of my worries. My name is surely one to remember. One day, I could rule the world.

My Rule
There is an immense amount of rules that someone could choose to live by. In all honesty, one of the most important rules for anyone to decide to live by is to be accepting. Everybody wants to be accepted. Everybody hopes to fit in, no matter where they go. Some try harder than others, but the feeling is the same throughout everyone.
The best way to give somebody the feeling of acceptance is most likely making them feel good about themselves. It is such an amazing thing to acknowledge someone's efforts in a positive way. Even a simple smile or wave can brighten a person's day. Any kind of gesture, whether it be simple or detailed, can help make anybody feel good about who they are.
All in all, it just feels good to make others feel good. Being accepted and liked is all anyone really truly wants. As well as it is what everyone truly deserves.
